With the right knowledge and expertise, artificial grass can be installed in even the most challenging locations. Something which was proven only last week with the installation of Royal Grass® artificial grass in and around a beautiful villa designed by an architect in Hoeselt, Belgium.
The project knew various obstacles, one of which a sloped wall, but fortunately the specialists of Ecograss, one of the official Royal Grass® dealers in Belgium, were ready for every challenge. The results were astounding.
Royal Grass® XL
For this project, the architect chose Royal Grass® XL, a beautiful type of artificial grass with extra-long fibres that give the lawn a delightfully soft and lush appearance. The first obstacle presented itself even before the installation could start: a high steel fence around the grounds. The artificial grass and all of the supplies needed to be lifted over this fence with a crane.
Sloped wall
The project then faced an even bigger challenge because the artificial grass was to be installed from the ground floor up to the first floor. From the lawn in the garden, the artificial grass climbs upstairs along a sloped wall towards the higher terrace. After installation, the lawn, stairs and terrace form a beautiful ensemble in which the stairs have been seamlessly incorporated in the grass carpet. The artificial grass then continues from the terrace to the bathroom.
Inside and outside unified
The bathroom next to the terrace has a large sliding window that can be opened completely in summer. The artificial grass continues from the window to the bathroom which makes both the interior and exterior space a beautiful ensemble. The combination of artificial grass in the bathroom and on the terrace give the place a lovely outdoor feeling.
